I am writing today with a very heavy heart. A dear friend lost her daughter on Christmas Day :( It really makes you stop and pause. I know life must go on but it really makes you take account of your own life and your friends and family. Do you tell them "I love you"? I know in my family we were never big on hugs and kisses and saying "I love you". This was the first year I made a point in telling all 3 of my brothers that I loved them. It's hard to say when you don't say it all the time. So I have made a pledge to myself to say "I Love you" to the people in my life. You just don't know if they will be there tomorrow to tell them.
Life seems unfair when a life is taken away to soon. I have to think there has to be a purpose a teaching experience for those of us left behind to have to deal with the sadness and loss.
Smile :) Be Happy :) Say I Love you!
I LOVE YOU XOXOXOXO
My favorite quote from Mark Twain
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." 2 Corinthians 1:3&4
ReplyDeleteLove you Dawn xoxo
Hey Dawn, I that Mark Twain quote is one of my favorites also. Prayers go out to your friend, her family, and of course you, She was your close friend, so her daughter must have been close to you as well, and, prayers to help you help her cope with her loss.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy your blogs,
Lynn
