Well it's been 3 weeks since George left. I'm still here and still kicking it :) I'm doing way better then I had thought I would. Keeping myself super busy with running, fur babies, and so much to do around the house. Lots of painting also to do in the house, plus the nice warm weather is out so there will be lots of yard work to do.
I can't believe the amount of friends and family who have emailed just to say hi, send me funny posts and pictures. Even George's work mates who stop by to say hi and ask how I am. What more do I need. Feeling so loved. Thank you!! Sometimes those funny pics or just that simple text that said hey I was thinking of you made my day go from meh to yay!!
The count down is now on until I get to see my man. YAY!! George is doing good. Adjusting to his new life and new routine. He's even started running. This makes me warm and fuzzy inside. His first week there he got a wicked sun burn. So I laid the law down and he's now making sure to apply sun screen everyday.
Taking the time this long weekend to enjoy the little moments. Like sleeping in. Mitsou actually didn't start crying till 6am this morning. That was 2 extra hours sleep I got. Woohoo! Now sitting on the deck with the other fur baby Sheena listening to the birds sing and her snore lol, and loving the feeling of the sun hit my legs. I love Spring. Time for renewal. Love watching the flowers come back to life. The neighbours are out talking to one another. Everyone seems happy :) I'm happy!
